You’ll collaborate with experienced DevOps engineers and various teams to put into practice and manage DevOps techniques, using a range of tools and technologies including GitHub, Azure, Kubernetes, ACR, YAML, Terraform, Azure DevOps, HELM, Prometheus, Grafana, PowerShell, and Jira.

Requirements and Abilities

A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar technical subject (or relevant hands-on experience). Some awareness or experience with DevOps concepts and methods, along with a keen interest in advancing in this field. Experience with version control tools like Git and platforms for collaboration such as GitHub. A foundational knowledge of cloud computing, with a preference for Microsoft Azure, and a willingness to engage with cloud-based services.

Main Duties

• Automating Software Updates: Help create and keep up CI/CD systems using Azure DevOps and GitHub for smooth and automatic software releases.
• Managing Cloud Resources: Work with the team to handle and improve cloud services on Azure, including Kubernetes groups, Azure Container Registry (ACR), and other linked services.
• Coding Infrastructure: Collaborate with experienced engineers to use tools like Terraform and YAML for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automating the creation and setup of cloud resources.
• Keeping an Eye on Systems: Assist in setting up and configuring monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana to make sure the applications and infrastructure are running well and efficiently.
• Writing Scripts for Efficiency: Create and update scripts with PowerShell and other tools to make routine tasks faster and more efficient.
• Managing Tasks and Working Together: Use Jira to keep track of project tasks, work with team members, and take part in Agile development methods.
