About The Job Role

Data Scientist and Business Analyst Job at IndusInd Bank You will join the bank’s asset analytics and data science team, where you will tackle advanced challenges. Your main role will be collaborating with teams from various departments such as risk management, business development, partnerships, digital services, and strategy. You will develop and improve strategies to increase the bank’s profits and expand its operations. You will focus on generating data-based insights that can be put into action and share these insights with the appropriate teams. Additionally, you will work closely with the digital product, growth, and marketing teams.

Education and Experience Needed

• A degree in Engineering (Bachelor or Master), Business Administration (Master), or a related field from well-known universities.
• 2 to 4 years working with data in areas like banking or finance.
• Experience creating models using tools like R, Python, or SAS.
• A deep knowledge of statistical methods.
• Skills in strategic thinking and solving complex problems.
• Good skills in writing and speaking.
• Ability to work well with others and make an impact across the company.
• A focus on results and managing projects well, handling many tasks at once.
• Experience with large datasets, analyzing data, using machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistics, and testing ideas.

Job Duties

• Have experience with database queries and using computer languages like R, Python, SQL, etc.
• Use predictive modeling to improve customer experiences, revenue, ad targeting, and other business results.
• Work with big and multiple sets of data, and data warehouses, and know how to get data using the right programs and coding.
• Be good at preparing and improving data for analysis.
• Have a strong background in statistical analysis and always look for better machine learning algorithms and data sources for better predictions.
• Work with different teams to find ways to use company data for business solutions, implement models, and watch the results.
• Check how well new data sources and data gathering methods work and create ways to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
• Have experience in setting up or expanding data science functions.
• Skilled at finding answers in big sets of information and using those answers to help businesses succeed.
• Use data analysis to improve how long customers stay with a company by offering the right product to the right customer at the right time.
• Set prices for digital services for different groups of users or clients to make sure the business makes money and meets its goals.
• Collaborate with teams that develop products, focus on growth, and handle marketing throughout the process of creating and running products or campaigns.
• Support product and marketing teams by making easy-to-use charts and reports with PowerBI.
