Our Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone with a strong passion for analyzing data and a history of working on data analysis projects. Ideally, they have a degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, or a similar field, preferably from a top-tier college.
- They must be proficient in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages.
- The candidate should be able to simplify complex data into clear and insightful information.
- They need to be able to interpret user actions and understand the significance of the data.
- Experience with business intelligence or web analytics tools like Looker, Tableau, Qliksense, or Sisense is beneficial.
- The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and the ability to think creatively.
- Experience in artificial intelligence/machine learning, data science, natural language processing/text analytics, or general AI is a plus.
- Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel is also a plus.
We need a motivated Data Analyst to join our team.
The Product Analytics & Insights team connects the practical and product aspects of Whatfix, using a strategic approach and analytical skills to make business decisions based on data. The Data Analyst Intern in this position will work with large, complex data sets to find useful insights not just for the product team, but also for other teams that require detailed understanding of product usage.
What will you be responsible for?
- Examining difficult issues with products by looking at information from how customers use them
- Giving useful advice to leaders to help them make plans and improve products
- Creating and keeping track of important charts for top managers and others to see important numbers and changes
- Working closely with teams that manage large amounts of data and teams that make products to get the right information and set up ways to easily do analysis and create models
- Taking care of all aspects of product data, from keeping track of it and creating models to showing it in easy-to-understand ways
