Job Description
- As an Application Engineer, your duties will be to Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for commercial or end-user applications. Writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.
- When you work in the software division, you will be primarily involved in the whole design process close to a high level. Being an Application Engineer, Identify, design, and realize minor modifications to the existing software structure. Prepare highly complex root cause-analysis solutions and deal with complicated bugs in the release. Establish and execute unit tests and unit plans. Also, assess the QA’s integration and regression tests. Also, talk to the QA team and a team of engineers working on porting when there is a need to discuss product functionality changes and to ensure product quality and consistency according to some specific products.
- Experienced engineers are responsible for carrying out various and complex tasks that require the use of a good understanding of the subject. Be it in the respective field or as a project lead and supervising of the lower-ranking task force, they very well may. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area. 1-2 years of software engineering or related experience.
Responsibilities
- As an Application Engineer, one of your duties within the software engineering department is to work creatively from the proposed high-level design specifications, which include the provision of the information in terms of categories such as module and structure. Arrange system planning, scheduling, management, and implementation. Construct enhancements (including new product features) and repair bugs. Construct and perform the planning and execution of a unit test. Monitor and authorize the integration and regression tests, which are written by the QA department. My and porting engineering’s interaction with QA about problems in the code.
