Education & Preferred Qualifications

• A degree in B.Tech/Mtech/MCA or a related field.
• Experience and skills in developing user interfaces (GUI) with Java and working with databases to create complete solutions are desirable.
• Understanding of the software development process and common practices (like code reviews and unit testing).
• Strong knowledge of SQL performance optimization techniques, including understanding query plans, managing SQL tracing, database statistics, and indexing methods, is highly preferred.
• Ability to manage and solve issues in a live production environment.

Your Responsibilities as an Intern

As an Intern, you will:

• Review business and technical requirement documents.
• Help with designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications.
• Take part in team meetings like daily stand-ups and retrospective meetings.
• Create technical documentation for the software development lifecycle process.
• Work with different teams within State Street.
• Learn about cloud computing basics, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, NaaS, and AWS & Azure fundamentals.
• Understand DevOps concepts like CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and Harness.
• Use monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and Grafana for dashboards.
• Learn about Site Reliability Engineering and ITIL processes, including ticketing and project management tools like Service Now and Jira/Confluence.
• Get familiar with database, middleware, storage, Windows, and Unix operating environments.
• Work with automation tools and languages like R, Python, Ansible, RPA (Blue Prism), and Django to automate network configurations.
